Who decides what appears here

Editorial policy

What we cover, how providers are chosen, and what being paid does and does not change. No provider sees a review before it publishes.

Overview

How money and opinion are kept apart on this site.

02

How we make money

We earn a commission when a reader buys through some of our outbound links. We do not sell eSIMs, we take no payment for inclusion, and no provider can buy a position in any ranking or listing.

03

Editorial picks versus algorithmic ones

Where a person chose a plan and wrote the reasoning, the card says "Editor's pick" and carries that reasoning. Where nobody chose it and it is simply the top of the published formula, the card says "Top ranked". These labels are never interchangeable, because a reader who discovers that an editor's pick was generated has no reason to believe anything else on the page either.

04

Where our data comes from

Plan data is read directly from providers' published catalogues and partner feeds, then normalised. We do not copy merchant marketing copy as page content. Where a provider does not publish a fact — activation timing, tethering, whether traffic breaks out locally — we record it as unknown rather than inferring it.

05

Disclosure

Affiliate disclosure appears next to the links it applies to, not only in this footer page. Monetised links are marked sponsored; links to provider documentation and other reference material are not.

06

Corrections and complaints

We correct errors rather than quietly editing them away. If a figure changes materially after publication, the page shows when it was last recomputed.
