Ukraine carries 1,380 plans from 10 providers at a median of 1.01 USD per gigabyte. Just over half advertise 5G, and validity runs longer than the European norm at around 28 days.
Only 15 plans are unlimited, the fewest among the European markets in this batch.
Coverage and service in Ukraine are affected by the ongoing war, and conditions vary substantially by region and over time. Network availability in areas near active fighting cannot be inferred from a provider's coverage map, and we do not publish claims about it. Anyone travelling should consult their own government's current advice, and treat any plan's stated coverage as a commercial description rather than a guarantee of service.

How to choose
Match the allowance to the trip, not the price
The average plan sold here is 36.3 GB over 32 days. Buying the cheapest plan and topping up twice usually costs more than buying the right size once — check whether the plan supports top-up before relying on it.
Treat "unlimited" as a threshold
28 plans here are sold as unlimited. Almost all mean full speed up to a fair-use threshold and throttling after it. Compare those on price per day; a price per gigabyte for an unlimited plan is a number with no denominator.
Check the network, not the brand
55% of plans here advertise 5G, but the network belongs to a local host operator. The provider table below shows which operators each reseller actually rides — that is what decides coverage once you leave the city.
Know when the clock starts
Some plans start counting at purchase, some on install, some on first connection at the destination. A seven-day plan bought three days early is a four-day plan if it starts at purchase. Where a provider does not publish the trigger, we mark it unknown rather than guess.

How to install
Most phones released since 2019 do. Dial *#06# — if an EID number appears alongside the IMEI, the handset has an eSIM. A carrier-locked phone may still refuse a second profile.
Buy while you still have reliable internet. Whether to install immediately depends on when the plan's clock starts — check the activation trigger on the plan you chose.
The provider emails a QR code. On iOS: Settings → Mobile Service → Add eSIM. On Android: Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add. Keep the code; some providers let you reinstall with it, others do not.
This is the step people miss. A travel eSIM is technically roaming on a host network, so data roaming must be enabled for that line — and turned off for your home line, unless you want a bill.

Separate
Unlimited and pay-per-GB plans are excluded from every median and percentile. A throttling threshold is not an allowance, and mixing the two makes a gigabyte look cheaper than it is.
Rank
The default order is a published formula: value percentile, feature completeness, data freshness, provider accuracy, coverage fit, first-party ratings and promo availability. Commission weight is zero, and no payout data reaches the ranking code at all.
Refresh
Prices are re-read continuously and this page was last recomputed on 27 August 2026. A sync whose numbers move implausibly is rejected rather than published.
