eSIM plans for Oceania
4,555 plans from 15 providers across 24 markets. One profile can cover the lot, but that is only worth paying for on some trips. Checked 27 August 2026
The decision
One pack, or one plan per country?
This is the only question the page really has to answer. The arithmetic is not close, and it does not go the way most people assume.
The best single-country price in the region, in Australia. Even the cheapest regional pack costs several times this per gigabyte.
- One or two countries on the trip
- Longer stays where the allowance gets used
- Heavy data use, where the gap compounds
The cheapest regional plan we found, from eSIM Dog. It buys one install and one balance across every market below.
- Three or more countries in one trip
- Short stops where a local plan expires unused
- You value not thinking about it at every border
Put plainly: the cheapest regional pack costs £0.66 against £0.18 per gigabyte, and 4 of the 10 packs we list beat the regional median of £2.13. You are buying convenience, not value.
One pack for the whole trip
Regional plans, cheapest per gigabyte first
Sorted by what a gigabyte actually costs rather than by headline price, and each one measured against the regional median of £2.13. What that comparison shows is the useful part.
4 of the 10 regional packs here beat the local median per gigabyte. Check the coverage before assuming that settles it: a pack is only cheaper overall if the trip actually visits enough of the markets it covers.
Markets in this region
All 24 markets, cheapest median first
Regional bundles cover many of these at once, but a local plan is usually cheaper per gigabyte in any single one. Compare the medians before assuming a pack is the better deal.
No market here matches that search.

How many of the markets below each provider reaches, how many plans that adds up to, and what they average per gigabyte. A wide footprint is not the same as a cheap one.

How we rank this region
The same formula every page on this site uses, published in full and applied here without exception.
One plan, counted once
A pack covering thirty markets holds thirty rows in our index. The plan count above counts it once, because that is the honest answer to "how many plans can I buy here".
Separate
Unlimited and pay-per-GB plans are excluded from every median and percentile. A throttling threshold is not an allowance, and mixing the two makes a gigabyte look cheaper than it is.
Compare like with like
A regional pack is measured against the median of the markets it covers, not against its own headline price. That is the only comparison that answers whether the pack is worth buying.
